Setting Up a Customer's Document Profile

  1. Open the Customer Document Profile form.
  2. Specify this information:
    Customer
    Select the customer for whom you want to create a profile.
    Ship To
    Select the customer ship-to for which you want to create a profile.
    Method
    Select the method to use to deliver reports:
    • Printer
    • Fax
    • Email
    Destination
    Specify the fax number, email address(es), or printer where the report will be delivered. To distribute a report to multiple fax numbers or printers, create multiple profiles, each with a different fax number or printer. To distribute a report to multiple email addresses, separate each email address with a semicolon.
    Task Name
    Select the name of the task for which you want to create report distribution defaults:
    • Customer Statements Report
    • Contract Invoicing
    • Order Invoicing
    • SRO Pre-Packing Slip
    • SRO Packing Slip
    • Quote
    • Service Order Inspection Report
    • Warranty Claims Report
    Description
    Specify a description associated with the task for which you want to create report distribution defaults.
    Copies
    Specify the number of copies of the report to print. This field is enabled only if Method is set to Printer.
    Active
    Select this check box to enable this selected profile.
  3. Save the record.
