Activating Generally Available Features

Caution: 
Once activated, features cannot be deactivated. Pre-release features should not be activated in a production environment.

Follow these steps to activate a generally available feature:

  1. Open the Feature Management form.
  2. If you want to enable a generally available feature, select the Available Features tab.
  3. Select Activate next to the feature that you want to activate.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Log out, then log back in to see the newly-activated feature.
Activated features move from their current tab to the Activated Features tab.
