Displaying a Hidden Field or Label

  1. Open a form containing a user-defined field and select the User Defined tab.
  2. From the View menu, select Settings.
  3. In the left pane, expand Design Time.
  4. Select Show hidden components.
  5. Close the Settings form to save your changes.
  6. Select Edit > Design Mode and specify the editing scope for the field(s) you are displaying. The scope remains in effect until you reset it. For important details on setting the scope for a form during an editing session, refer to the topic "Set and Change Editing Scope" in the WinStudio help.
  7. Click the component on the User Defined tab that you want to display.
  8. On the Component properties sheet, set Hidden to False.
  9. Save the changes.
