Destination Table Details
To view details of a table or to edit it, click on a table in the left pane and the details will be displayed in the right pane.
- Technical Table Name: This is the technical name for the selected table.
- Friendly Table Name: This is the name that will be displayed in Infor Risk & Compliance.
- Module Associations: Modules are logical grouping of objects such as General Ledger, Procure-to-Pay or Order-to-Cash. Modules are used for licensing purposes and for extraction scoping . Also, publishing to the IRC server is done depending on the module you are licensed for. Only tables with an associated module can be published.
- Source variants: Source variants indicate the number of mappings for fetching data from source tables. When you specify a source variant of 2, this will indicate that data in that table is mapped to 2 separate sets of source tables. When the table is extracted, data is extracted from each set of source tables and populates the destination table. For example, in a PeopleSoft project, if the data for the table ACCOUNT comes from two source tables - PS_GL ACCOUNT_TBL and T CURR ACC. The ACCOUNT table will have a source variant of 2.
- Category: Objects may be classified as Master data or Transactions data objects. This is a mandatory field and new destination objects must be sorted into one of these categories. When you select Transaction, Parent Table field is displayed. The drop-down list displays the master objects as well as the transaction objects. Select the desired object. If in the Parent Table field you select self, then a Date Scope field appears. Select a date range for scoping data. All the child tables that point to the selected parent will use the selected date field for scoping data.
