Connection Parameters for PeopleSoft:

Note: Connecting to the PeopleSoft database requires the database client for the back-end that your PeopleSoft Server is using - either DB2 Client, SQL or Oracle client.
Field Description
Back-end database From the drop-down list, select what the back-end database will be.
ERP Server Provide the host ID for the application server or the server name. This name is for informational purposes only and is not validated.
Data Source The data source provided here depends on the backend used:

Oracle- This is the TNS alias from  the TNSNames.Ora file from the Oracle Client installation folder path.

SQL - This is the global database name and is used to connect to the system.

DB2 - Alias entered while configuring the DB2 Client.

User ID and Password Provide the credentials to log into the PeopleSoft system.
