Copy as New Project

Use this menu to copy an existing project and save it as a new project. This link is enabled only if you are working on an existing project.

Note: This feature supports all ERPs except the CDM Insights.

To save an existing project as a new project:

  1. Provide a name to identify the project. This name must be different from the existing project name.
  2. Provide a description for the project
  3. The GUID number for the new Insight is automatically populated in the GUID field.
  4. Provide a name for the Insight.
  5. Provide a friendly name for the Insight
  6. Provide the Insight FQN Prefix. This name should be unique.
    Note: Update the FQN and the Insight name( if hardcoded) in the stored procedure for these Studio features:
    • Dashboards
    • Custom Intellilinks
    • Metric Stored Procedure
    • Post Update Stored Procedure
  7. Click Save.
