Destinations

Destination refers to the Insight structure where data extracted from different ERPs-Lawson, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft , Infor or other sources-is brought into a common structure.

The concept behind the destination table is that it allows data from any system to be mapped to a consistent definition that can then be used by Infor Risk & Compliance for rule building, analysis, and reporting. For example, the same table Journal stores data from PSOFT GL_JE HEADERS table, the Oracle PNL_HEADER table and the SAP Accounting Document table.

When you click the Destinations tab, the page displays a list of all Insight tables, their friendly names and whether the tables are marked as root tables( used at the base level in rule building).

Note: This is applicable only to projects created using the previous versions of Studio. If you create a project using Studio 10.0, the destinations tab will appear empty.
