Adding a source table

Source tables can be added by connecting to the ERP or by uploading them from a CSV file. To add source tables from the ERP, you should have a connection associated with the project through Project>Properties.

To add source tables, users require the following minimum permissions:

  • Lawson database: The account used to browse the ERP needs table level read access on both GEN and Lawson database mentioned in Studio Connection Creation user interface.
  • Oracle databases: The account used to browse the ERP should have SELECT permissions on the tables that are to be pulled in as source tables.
  • SQL databases: The account used should be assigned the 'db_datareader’ role.

Add a new source table as follows:

  1. Click Add. The page displays two columns- ERP Source Tables and Previously Added Source Tables. If you open a new project, both columns are blank. Click  Add. The page displays two columns- ERP Source Tables and Previously Added Source Tables. If you open a new project, both columns are blank.
