Installing the utility

To install the Rule Conversion Utility:

  1. Copy the folder containing the Rule Conversion Utility Installer files to your local machine.
  2. Click Infor Risk & Compliance Rule Conversion Utility.msi. The Welcome screen is displayed.
  3. Click Next to select your installation folder. The Folder field displays the location where the utility will be installed. The default location is C:\Program Files\Approva\RuleConversionUtility. Click Browse to select a different location.

    If you are installing 32-bit RCU on a 64-bit machine, the default location is C:\Program Files\Approva\RuleConversionUtility.

  4. Select whether everyone or only you will be using the utility.
    1. Click Next to continue. The Confirm Installation screen is displayed.
    2. Click Next to begin installation. The screen displays the installation progress. When installation is complete, the Installation Complete screen is displayed.
    3. Click Close to exit the wizard.
    Note: The installation files and the pre-defined templates are stored at the default location: [Install Path]/RuleConversionUtility/bin
