Add a new target application server
Add a new target IRC or CM application server to the IRC Portable Data Scheduler as follows:
- In the IRC Server window, click Add. The Add dialog box displayed.
- In the Server Name field, specify the name of the server on which IRC, Certification Manager or both are installed.
- If this server is a SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) server, provide the port number assigned to the server in the Port No field.
- Select the check box Is SSL Enabled if SSL is enabled on the target application server.

Click
Get URL. The application
URL that is displayed depends on the target application available on the
specified server. The check box next to the application that is installed on
this server is selected by default.
- If IRC as well as CM are available on this server, the Infor Risk & Compliance and Infor Certification Manager panels are displayed in the Add dialog box. The URL for both the applications is displayed in the respective Application URL fields.
- If any one of the
applications is available on this server, both the
Infor Risk & Compliance and
Infor Certification Manager panels are
displayed in the
Add dialog box. But
the URL of the application that is available is displayed in the in the
Application URL field;
whereas, the
Application URL field
of the application that is not available is grayed.
Note: If the server name specified does not exist or is incorrect an error message 'Unable to get Application URL for this server' is displayed.

In the
User Name and
Password field, provide
the user name and password to connect to the specified target application.
- If the URL for both IRC and CM are displayed in their respective fields, provide the credentials to connect to both the applications.
- If the URL for either of the applications is displayed, provide the appropriate credentials. For example, if the URL for IRC is available, provide the credentials to connect to the IRC application.

Click
Test to verify the server
name and to authenticate the specified user credentials.
Note: If the user accessing IRC application server is assigned only one of the following roles in IRC, user authentication for IRC fails.
- Business Process Owner
- Dashboard Manager
- General User
- Report Viewer
To add the IRC application server to the IRC Portable Data Scheduler, the user must be assigned at least one other IRC role in addition to the roles above.
- After successful authentication, click Save. A message stating that the server is successfully added is displayed on the lower right corner. Multiple servers can be added. While creating a scheduled task, users can select the required server from the list of servers that are added to the IRC Portable Data Scheduler.
