Script based extraction for Oracle

The configuration parameters for script-based extraction for Oracle are as follows:

FIELD DESCRIPTION
Project Name

Provide a unique name to identify the project. If a project with the same name already exists in the IRC Portable Data Scheduler, an message is displayed.

Script Path
Click Browse to search for the folder containing the ExtractORCLAI.cmd script file on the local machine. Select ExtractORCLAI.cmd as this file is used to extract data from the Oracle database.
Note: The folder containing the ExtractORCLAI.cmd file should also contain the ExtractORCLAI.SQL file.
User Name and Password

Provide a user name and password to connect to the Oracle server.

Host String

Specify the unique system ID (SID) of the Oracle database.

Extracted Data Files Path

Provide the location where the extracted data files will be saved.

Connection Language

Specify the language code of the data extraction language.

Click Save to add the IRC Portable Data Scheduler. A message stating that the project is successfully created is displayed on the lower right corner of the window.
