Selecting input parameters

To start extraction:

  1. Select the input file format.
  2. Provide the BIF XML Format.
    Note:  Supported formats are SAP Authorizations Insight, Oracle Authorizations Insight, PeopleSoft HR Authorizations Insight, and PeopleSoft FI Authorizations Insight.
  3. Select the input Excel file or the input CSV files folder.
    Note: 
    1. If the input file is an Excel file, select the appropriate reader from the Excel reader option drop down list.
    2. If Microsoft Access Database Engine is installed, select the Use Microsoft Access driver for the Excel option.
    3. If Microsoft office with Primary Interop Assembly (PIA) is installed, select the Use Microsoft Office Interop for Excel option.
  4. Provide the output file name. This file is the *.beu connection file.
  5. Provide the output directory for storing the generated BIF XML files and connection information.
    Note:  In case of failed extractions, refer to the log files. The log files are located at [Install Path] > \TMonitor > \bin > \logs.LegacyDataExtractor_Date.log. The LegacyDataExtractor_Date.log contains logs related to extraction and object failures.
  6. Click Generate to begin the extraction. When extraction is complete, the summary of the extraction is displayed.

    The summary page displays the number of records extracted for the corresponding objects. It also displays any error occurred during the extraction.
