Scope by rule book

Select this option to scope at the Insight level, based on a rule book, or a set of rule books. When you select a rule book, the IRC Portable Data Extractor detects the objects and fields used in the rule book and extracts only those objects and fields.
Note: This feature is available for all Insights for SAP except Authorizations Insight, User Activity Insight and System Configuration Insight.
  1. Click Browse to locate and select the rule book or rule books to be used.
  2. Click Next. IRC Portable Data Extractor displays a message indicating that the scoping is in progress
  3. Click OK.
    Note:  When you select the Scope by Rule book option, this setting will override any previous extraction settings. However, if you use the Extraction Settings option after rule based scoping, then these extraction settings will override the scoped files.
