Access Credentials

On the Access Credentials screen, provide the user name and password for the account that will be used by the IRC Portable Data Extractor to extract data. This screen does not apply to projects created for Lawson Insights.

Note:  The account should be specific to the application and Insight selected and should have the necessary permissions to extract data.

If you are working with an existing project, the Access Credentials screen displays the check box Save as a New Project. Select this check box to create a new project and to retain the data in your existing project. Unless this check box is selected, the newly extracted data will overwrite already existing data.

  1. Provide a name and a location for the new project.
  2. Click Next to move to the next screen.
Note:  The Validate User Account check box is selected by default and ensures that the server and the credentials to access the server are validated before extraction. If this check box is not selected, the Pre-Extraction validation screen is skipped.
