Create a New Project

When you create a new extraction project, the IRC Portable Data Extractor creates a new folder at a location specified by you and places the extracted data in the form of .bez, .beu, and .txt output files at this location.

Create a new extraction project as follows:

Select Create a New Project.
Provide a project name for the extraction project.
Specify a project folder to store the new project. Click the Browse icon to browse for and select a project folder

Note: If a project with the same name already exists, IRC Portable Data Extractor displays a warning message, asking you if you want to overwrite the existing files.
Click Next to go to the Specify Connection Information screen to select the Insight required and provide the connection information to be used by the adapter.
