For Windows 7 and above

  1. Select Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Task Scheduler .
  2. Click Create Basic Task.
  3. In the Create Basic Task Wizard, provide the task name and description.
  4. Click Next.
  5. Schedule the task frequency - whether you want the task to run daily, weekly, etc.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Provide the start time and number of recurrences.
  8. Click Next.
  9. On the Action screen select the radio button Start a program.
  10. Use the information provided by the IRC PDE to fill out the Program / script and Add arguments fields.
    Portable Data Extractor
    • In the Program / scripts field, provide the path highlighted in blue in the figure above.
    • In the Add arguments field, provide the path highlighted in yellow in the figure above.
  11. Click Next.
  12. On the Summary screen click Finish.
