Modify Dynamic Extraction Engine Settings

  1. Select the check box next to the extraction setting to be modified. Provide or select the options as required.
    Note:  SAP GUI v6.4 is a pre-requisite for the feature ABAP Debug and should be installed before selecting the ABAP Debug check box .
  2. Click Save Extraction Settings. The utility displays a confirmation message.
  3. Click Yes to make the changes. The utility creates a back up of the setting with a time-date stamp. A message is displayed after the extraction settings have been saved successfully.
    Note:  The default location of the back up settings file is [Install Path]\TMonitor\Backup . The back up settings file can also be configured through the beuconfig.xml file which is located at [ Install Path\ProgramFiles\Approva\Portable Data Extractor\TMonitor\Settings
    Note:  Modifications made to these settings are reflected in the Dynamic Extraction Engine config file for that particular object.
    Note:  Click View Log to view the history of the changes made in the extraction settings.
