Updating Report Subscriptions Password

Use the Update Report Subscriptions Password functionality in the IRC application to update the File Share Account password for reports that are already subscribed in the application.

The IRC application uses service account credentials to store subscribed reports on a file share path. When the service account password is changed, existing report subscriptions fail as the Report Server is unable to write to the file share, using outdated credentials.

Note: You must update the service account credentials in the Account Config menu before updating the Report Subscriptions Password. See, Account Config.

The Update Report Subscriptions Password screen displays the Report Server and Report Server Database details for verification.

To update Report Subscriptions password:

  1. Verify that the Report Server and Report Server Database details displayed on the Update Report Subscriptions Password screen are correct.
  2. Click Update. A confirmation message is displayed to verify that the new service account password has been configured in the Account Config menu of the application.
  3. Click OK to apply the change. This action updates existing report subscriptions scheduled to run in the future.
