Import Settings

This panel enables you to define settings to import users into Certification Manager and assign them standard Certification Manager roles. The options displayed on this panel depend on the authentication scheme selected while installation as explained below:

  • Certification Manager authentication: In case of Certification Manager authentication, this panel enables you to:
    • Assign a standard Certification Manager role to all users imported into Certification Manager. From the Assign Role drop-down list, select the standard role to be assigned to all users soon after they are imported into Certification Manager.
      Note:  Other roles may be re-assigned to these users later from the User Management tab of the Security page.
    • Assign a password for all imported users. The Password Setting panel provides two options to assign a password for all imported users:
      • Select Automatically generate initial password for new user if the initial password should be system generated.
      • Select Manually enter initial password for new user to manually provide initial password for the imported users. When you select this option, two text boxes are displayed. where you can specify a password and confirm the password.

    Click Save after making the required modifications. All the users that are imported into Certification Manager after these settings are saved will be assigned this password. The imported users can use these credentials to sign into Certification Manager.

  • Active Directory authentication

    In case of Active Directory authentication, this panel enables you to:

    • Define the import type. The following options are available:
    • Import from Infor Risk & Compliance: Select this option to import users from IRC. Users can be imported from IRC only if IRC and Certification Manager are installed using Active Directory authentication and if IRC server settings are configured in Certification Manager.
    • Import Active Directory users from CSV: Select this option to import the required users from Active Directory through a CSV file.
    • Import All users from Active Directly directly: Select this option to import all the Active Directory users.
    • Assign a standard role to all imported users: From the Assign Role drop-down list, select the role to be assigned to all users imported after these settings are saved. After the users are imported into Certification Manager, roles may be assigned to individual users from the User Management tab of the Security page.

    Click Save after making the required modifications.

  • Infor Risk & Compliance Application Security authentication: In case of IRC Application Security authentication, this panel enables you to assign a standard Certification Manager role to all imported users.

    From the Assign Role drop-down list, select the standard role to be assigned to all imported users. Other roles may be assigned to individual users from the User Management tab of the Security page, after the users are imported into Certification Manager.

    After making the required modifications, click Save.

Note:  These settings are not applicable to the current Certification Manager user repository. Users imported after these settings are saved are impacted by these modifications.
