Subscribe to email notifications

To create a new notification:

  1. Click the New icon. A pop-up window is displayed.
  2. Provide the subject line for the email.
  3. From the Delivery drop-down list, select whether the notification should be sent as soon as the event occurs, or whether they should be consolidated and sent out daily or weekly.
  4. From the Type drop-down list, select the task for which the notification is to be sent.
  5. From the Events drop-down list, select the type of event for which the notification should be sent. This drop-down list displays all events for the selected type. For example, if you have selected 'Reports' as the type, all events relevant to reports are displayed in this drop-down list. Select the required event to receive email notifications for those events only.
  6. Define the scope of the notification. Select the ALL check box or clear it and click the Browse icon to  select specifically when you should be notified. For example, if creating a notification for a process, you can opt to receive a notification for ALL processes, or browse for a specific process for which you want to receive a notification.
  7. Select whether the notification should have a rich text or plain text format.
  8. Select the language in which the notification is to be sent out. The default is English.
  9. On the Users to be Notified panel, specify the users to whom the email notification is to be sent:
    • In the Certification Manager Users field, select the Certification Manager users to whom the email notification must be sent. Alternatively click the Browse icon  to browse for and select the required users. All Certification Manager users with a valid email ID are available for selection.
    • In the Other Users field, provide the email IDs of users to whom the email notification must be sent and click the Add icon
  10. Click Save. The Notification panel is updated with the saved information.
