Map User Attributes

The user attributes in the imported data to be reviewed can be mapped to the user attributes in Certification Manager. This mapping is essential if you intend to prohibit self-approvals as a part of process definition for User-Role review processes.

For example, consider a scenario where the Certification Manager attribute 'LAST_NAME' is mapped to the Lawson attribute 'Last Name' for a specific user. A User-Role review process is created to review the roles assigned to this user. During this review process, if the attribute 'LAST_NAME' of the stage reviewer and the attribute 'Last Name' of the user being reviewed match, then the review is routed to the default stage reviewer. See, Create New Process - Reviewers.

To map user attributes:

  1. In the Certification Manager and With Lawson drop-down fields, select the attributes to be mapped. This table lists the  Certification Manager attributes and the Lawson application attributes that are available for selection.
    Certification Manager attributes Lawson attributes
    USERID User ID
    FIRST_NAME First Name
    LAST_NAME Last Name
    DISPLAY_NAME NT User ID
    EMAIL Is LAUA
  2. Click Add. The mapping is displayed in a grid below. To delete a mapping, click Delete.
Note:  By default, Certification Manager maps the User ID in Certification Manager with the ERP Source key. This is applicable only If you do not define the attribute mapping at this stage.
