Map User Attributes

The user attributes in the imported data to be reviewed can be mapped to the user attributes in Certification Manager. This mapping is essential if you intend to prohibit self-approvals as a part of process definition for user-role reviews.

Note: The Map User Attribute option is displayed only when a you create an application schema using the Standard Review type. For example, a user/role review or a role/user review. This option is not displayed for Custom Review type.

To map user attributes:

Select the check-box Map User Attributes.

In the Certification Manager and With drop-down fields, select the attributes to be mapped.

This table lists the Certification Manager attributes and the custom application attributes that are available for selection.


Certification Manager attributes	Application attributes
USERID
FIRST_NAME	The object attributes that are specified for the review objects in the Display Name of Column field while creating the custom application schema are available for selection here.
LAST_NAME
DISPLAY_NAME
EMAIL

Click Add. The mapping is displayed in a grid below. To delete a mapping, click Delete.
The information to be provided on the Sources tab depends on the option selected on the Data Source Type panel of the Basic Information tab .
- If the option CSV Files is selected, you must provide information on the these panels:
  - Data for objects. See, Data for Objects.
  - Data for mapping Primary object to secondary object per review type. See, Data for Mapping Primary Object to Secondary Object per Review Type.
  - Data for mapping permitted reviewer groups to primary object. See, Data for Mapping Permitted Reviewer Groups to Primary Object.
- If the option ODBC Connection is selected, provide the following information
  - ODBC connection details. See, ODBC connection details.
  - Database details. See, Database details.
  - Credentials. See, Credentials.
  - Data for objects. See, Data for objects.
  - Data for mapping primary object to secondary type per review type. See, Data for mapping primary object to secondary type per review type.
  - Data for mapping permitted reviewer groups to primary objects. See, Data for mapping primary object to secondary type per review type.
Click Finish. The newly created data source is displayed on the Data Sources page. You can import data through this data source by clicking Execute.
