Working with Objects - Filters
You can specify whether you want to exclude an object or change the manager/owner assignments by selecting the required option from the Object Type drop-down list.
This page also allows to re-included the excluded objects.
You can perform the following actions:
- Exclude a primary object:
- From the Object Types drop-down list, select the required primary object. The object types available in this drop-down list depend on the data source selected. For example, for a IRC SAP data source, SAP Account and SAP Role are the object types available for selection.
- The New Filter panel allows you to define a condition that the selected object type should match. Select whether the object types selected should match ANY or ALL of the conditions.
- Define multiple conditions by clicking Add Condition. For example, if you select Account or Role as the object type, you can define a condition to specify that only User Names or Role Names beginning with 'A' should be selected. If no conditions are specified, all the objects of the selected object type from the selected data source are displayed in the grid.
- The Display Columns panel enables you to customize how you want the results displayed. For example, you may want the Role Name to be displayed first and then the Role Type. To change the default display order, clear the Default check box and set your preference.
- Click Show Results. See, Objects - Primary Objects. The objects that satisfy the above conditions are displayed. The results page enables you scope down the records even further by applying additional filters. So, if you are viewing records for SAP Role, the additional filters would be Role Name and Role Type.
- From the records displayed, select the required objects and click Exclude Objects icon. Certification Manager displays a confirmation message. Click Save to confirm. Excluded objects are indicated by the Excluded icon next to them are excluded from the next occurrence of the processes associated with the selected data source.
- Change manager or owner

- From the Object Type drop-down list, select the required reviewer group. The reviewer groups available in this drop-down list depend on the data source selected. For example, for an IRC SAP data source, Role Owner and Account Manager reviewer groups are available.
- The New Filter tab enables you to define a condition that the selected object type should match. Select whether the object types selected should match ANY or ALL of the conditions below.
- You can define multiple conditions by clicking Add Condition. For example, if you select Role Owner as the reviewer group in the Object Type drop-down list, you can define conditions to specify that only Role Names beginning with 'A' and containing a numeric value should be selected. If no conditions are specified, all the object types from the selected data source are displayed.
- Click Show Results. See, Objects - Primary Objects. All records that satisfy the conditions are displayed. The results page enables you scope down the records even further by applying additional filters.
- From the records displayed, select the required objects and click Reassign Reviews. Certification Manager displays a pop-up window. Browse for the user to whom the role ownership should be re-assigned. Click Save to confirm the re-assignment. The selected objects are routed to the re-assigned owner from the next occurrence of the process.
- Re-included excluded

- Select the required application schema and data source. Select the object type to scope down the records.
- Select the required excluded objects from the grid and click the Include Objects icon. The excluded object icon is no longer be displayed next to the object indicating that it is now included.
