Standard roles and their permissions

Standard roles shipped with Certification Manager contain pre-defined permissions. These permissions define which pages the users, assigned this role, can view and what actions they can perform on these pages.

Certification Manager ships with the following standard roles:

• Super User : The Super User has access to all menus and pages in Certification Manager and can intervene on behalf of reviewers to re-assign reviews if needed. The Super User has access to the Configuration page and is responsible for configuring all the available product settings.
• Process Administrator : The Process Administrator role is responsible for creating, editing and scheduling review processes. The Process Administrator also decides the final action on reviews. The process Administrator can access the following pages in Certification Manager:

  Design - Processes	View Processes, Create New Process, Manage Processes, Restore Processes, Purge Processes, Maintain Occurrences

• Process Auditor : This role is responsible for completing the final sign-off on all reviews and to certify that the review process is complete.

  In most organizations, the Internal Audit team or the Internal IT Controls team does the final sign-off. The Process Auditor can access the following pages in Certification Manager:

• Reviewer : This role is responsible for reviewing and taking action on primary and secondary review objects. Reviewers can access the following pages in Certification Manager.

  The Reviews page is displayed when a user assigned the Reviewer role signs into Certification Manager.

• Dashboard Manager : This role is responsible for managing the Dashboards page. The Dashboards Manager can access the following pages in Certification Manager:

• Data Protection Officer (DPO)
