Email notification for emergency access role assignment

When an emergency access role is assigned to a user, an email notification with this information can be sent to the owner of the role.

To configure the xml setting:

XML file name and path [Install Path]\BizRightsPresentation\AMSConfig.xml
Node <enableaodnotificationsbyrole>false</enableaodnotificationsbyrole>
Configuration settings Configure the value in the node to True. The owner of the emergency access role will receive an email notification about the role assignment.

This setting is applicable for:

  • Emergency access roles assigned after setting is configured to ‘true’.
  • Users assigned role ownership after the setting is configured to ‘true’.
Default False. This means that the owner of the emergency access role will not receive an email notification about the role assignment.
