Uninstalling IRC Services

  1. Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Programs and Features.
  2. Locate the IRC Services entry in the list of programs.
  3. Click Uninstall/Change. The system displays the IRC Services window.
  4. Select the Remove option.
  5. Click Next. The system begins uninstall. A message asking for confirmation to continue with uninstall is displayed.
  6. Click Yes to start uninstall. The wizard displays the following message asking if you want to back up your IRC database.
  7. Click Yes to take a backup.
    Note: Click No to continue without taking a backup of the IRC database. In this case, the uninstaller will delete your database. For details on database backup, see Backing up the database.
  8. Click Finish.
