Upgrade prerequisites

Before you upgrade, ensure that the prerequisites are satisfied,

The Shared Management Object and Microsoft System CLR Types for SQL 2008 R2 SP3 is uninstalled.
The SQL Shared Management Object and Microsoft System CLR Types to SQL 2014 SP2 is installed.

Caution:

Ensure that before you upgrade your server, User Account Control (UAC) is turned off.
