Lawson - Role Assignment Management

A Lawson - Role Assignment What-if analysis helps you determine the impact of assigning new roles to users or revoking existing roles before making these changes in your Lawson system.

To create a Lawson Role Assignment Management What-if:

Provide details on the following panels:
- General Information: Use this panel to provide the following general information about the What-if:
  - What-if name.
  - Connection.
  - Select User ID.
- New roles to be assigned to the user.
- Already assigned roles.
- Select Rule Books.
- More details.
Click Analyze. The completed What-if analysis is displayed on the What-ifs home page. Click the What-if link to view details of violations generated and take further action.

If Access Manager for Lawson is installed on your server, you can generate a Role Assignment Management type of request from this What-if analysis:

If the What-If analysis does not generate violations you can create a request either from the What-if home page or from the Violation Details page.
If the What-If analysis generates violations, you can create a request only from the Violation Details page.
