Build the rule condition
This rule enables you to identify users or responsibilities assigned two conflicting functions defined in the rule condition. When an analysis is performed using this rule, users or responsibilities that are assigned the following conflicting functions are displayed as violations:
- INV_INVADCYC: Enter inventory cycle counts
- INV_INVAMCAP: Adjust inventory cycle counts
Build the rule condition as follows:
- On the Conditions tab, click Convert to Conflicts Rule. The Conflict With panel is displayed. This panel enables you to add functions that conflict the functions to be added to Group 1.

Group 1
and
Group 2, select the required
operator. Depending on the operator selected for Group 1 and Group 2, there may
be the following scenarios:
Group 1 Operator Group 2 Operator Violations Detected Any Any Users or responsibilities that are assigned any of the functions selected in Group 1 and any of the functions selected in Group 2 All All Users or responsibilities that are assigned all the functions selected in Group 1 and all the functions selected in Group 2 Any All Users or responsibilities that are assigned any of the functions selected in Group 1 and all the functions selected in Group 2 All Any Users or responsibilities that are assigned all the functions selected in Group 1 and any of the functions selected in Group 2 For this rule, select Any for both Group 1 and Group 2.

Under Group 1, click
Add Function. The
Browse Functions window that opens enables you
to add the required function from any one of the following tabs:

Quick
Add : The
Quick Add tab enables
you to add multiple functions either by typing them in or copying them from an
Excel spreadsheet.
For this rule condition, type in the function INV_INVADCYC.
Infor Risk & Compliance validates the function before it is added to the rule condition. If the function is invalid, it is highlighted in red. You must delete the invalid function and add only the correct one.

Objects : The
Select Objects tab
enables you to browse for and add the required functions .
In the Select Functions autosuggest text box, type in part of the name and select the function INV_INVADCYC from the drop-down list. Alternatively, browse and select this function.

Copy
Conditions
The Copy Condition tab enables you to copy the required condition from an existing rule.

If an existing rule contains all the function INV_INVADCYC, it can be copied from that rule as follows:
- From the Select rule drop down list, select the required existing rule. All the conditions of the selected rule appear in the panel below.
- Select the check box next to the function INV_INVADCYC.

Quick
Add : The
Quick Add tab enables
you to add multiple functions either by typing them in or copying them from an
Excel spreadsheet.
- Click Add Function under Group 2 on the Conflicts With panel. Add the function INV_INVAMCAP and build the condition as explained for Group 1.
- Click Save. The selected functions are added to their respective groups.
