Formatted Process Data
Formatted Process data is the Process Insight data that is extracted using offline extraction tools such as the Portable Data Extractor and Script based extraction.
- Upload Formatted Process
Data
To upload formatted data to the Infor Risk & Compliance application server, provide the following information:
- Files to upload
Perform this step after selecting connection details, connections and analysis scope details like rule books and the date range.
- In the Files to Upload field, click and select the files to be uploaded. You can upload .zip files only.

Note: If multiple zip files are selected and if any of the files is corrupt, the data upload status shows as successful. The corrupt file will be detected only during data extraction and can be monitored through the Tasks page.

- Connection details
In the Connection details panel, specify the Infor Risk & Compliance connection into which the data will be extracted after it is uploaded to the Infor Risk & Compliance application server. You have the following options:
- Select an existing
connection
- Click .
- From the Select Connections drop-down list that is displayed, select the required connection.
- Create a new
connection
- To extract data into a new connection, provide the name of the connection in the New Connection field.
- In the Connection Security panel, define whether the connection should be secured.
Note: You may secure your connection so that access to data from this connection is restricted to a few selected users.Note: To upload files, the Infor Risk & Compliance service account must have the required permission to access the folder where the data will be uploaded. After is clicked, the user will see one of the following messages- If the Infor Risk & Compliance Services account does not have permission to access the required folder, file verification cannot take place and upload will fail with the error message 'The file ABC.zip was successfully uploaded, but could not be verified'.
- If the Infor Risk & Compliance Services account has the required permissions and if verification is successful, this message will be displayed 'All files are successfully uploaded to the server'.
- If the Infor Risk & Compliance Services account has the required permissions but verification fails, the user will see the following message 'The file ABC.zip was successfully uploaded, but failed file verification tests'.

- Analyze uploaded data
After the data is uploaded and extracted into the selected connection, it is analyzed in Infor Risk & Compliance to view exceptions. The Analysis Scope panel enables you to scope the data to be analyzed by providing the following details:
- Rule Books
Select the required rule books. The uploaded data is analyzed against from the rules in the selected rule books. By default, all rule books in Infor Risk & Compliance are selected.
To select specific rule books:
- Clear the check box All.
- Type in part of the rule book name in the autosuggest text box .All rule book names matching your search criteria are displayed. Select the desired rule book. Alternatively, browse and select the required rule book and click OK .
- Connections
Select the required connection. Data extracted offline from this connection is scoped to be analyzed. By default, all connections are selected. To select specific connections:
- Clear the check box All.
- Type in a part of the connection name in the autosuggest text box. All connections matching your search criteria are displayed. Select the desired connection. Alternatively, browse and select the required connections and click .
- Date Range
This scoping functions only for transactions data . Provide a date range in the From Date and To Date fields to analyze objects uploaded in the specified period. Click the icon to select a date from the calendar.
Note: For data other than transactions data; all objects are analyzed, irrespective of the date range specified.
- Rule Books
