Requests in CUA Clients
An SAP system can have multiple clients with each client creating and maintaining the same users. This can lead to administrative complications when it comes to maintaining, updating and deleting user data.
SAP Central User Administration (CUA) manages client data centrally. This means that when there is a change in the user information of a user within the CUA system, this change automatically impacts the information of that user in the other clients managed by the CUA system.
Infor Risk & Compliance performs all user management activities for CUA managed clients through the central server. All write operations, that is, operations that make changes to user information, are performed through the CUA server. Write operations include assigning new roles to a user, revoking roles, or creating new users.
For ' Read' operations that do not make any changes to client information, for example, extracting data from clients, Infor Risk & Compliance communicates directly with the managed clients.
