Build the rule condition
Build conditions for this rule as follows:
- On the Conditions tab, click Add/Edit Rule Conditions to build the rule conditions. A pop-up window is displayed with the Select Objects tab open by default.
- On the Select Objects tab , select the primary object. This is the object on which the exception count will be based. Only one primary object may be selected for a rule. For this rule, the primary object would be 'Vendor Master'.
- Select the other objects that will participate in the rule condition. For this rule, the other object would be 'OFAC Name'.
- Click the Build Conditions tab. You may want to build your rule with just one group or multiple groups. A group is a set of conditions. Each group can have one or more conditions separated by an operator. Two or more groups are separated using the operator AND or OR. During analysis, all the conditions in the first group are evaluated sequentially and then the conditions in the second group depending on the operator.
- Under Value Set 1 click Select Value. Use the autosuggest box or browse for the tables and fields required.
- For this rule, select the table Vendor Master.
- Select the field Vendor Name 1.
- Right click Select operator and select Fuzzy matches.
- Under Value Set 2, click Select Value. Use the autosuggest box or browse for the tables and fields required.
- For this rule, select the table OFAC Name.
- Select the field Name 1.

Right click on
Condition 1 and click
Add Condition. The second
condition gets added with the operator
AND. Right Click the
operator
AND to change it to

OR.

Condition 8 and click
Add Condition. The next

When data is analyzed using this rule, all names that are similar to OFAC SDN listed names are displayed as exceptions.
