Offline Extraction
Select the offline extraction option if you wish to extract data from an offline connection. Infor Risk & Compliance does not support offline extraction for Authorizations Insight for Lawson and Authorizations Insight for Infor Applications.
Provide information on the following panels to schedule an offline extraction:

Provide the following information on this panel:
- Scope
Define the scope of your extraction so that you extract only data that you require:
- Select a connection from the Connections drop-down list. If connections are secured, users signed into Infor Risk & Compliance will be able to view only those connections that they have access to.
- Select the offline
extraction option.
Note:
- If the connection selected for data extraction is either an offline connection or an offline connection to which remote data is mapped, the radio buttons Online and Offline are disabled.
- If the connection selected for data extraction is either an online connection or an online connection to which remote data is mapped, the Online and Offline buttons are both enabled. The Online button is selected by default. Select the Offline button to use data from a mapped connection.
- The
Mapped Projects
drop-down list displays all the projects mapped to the selected connection.
Select the desired project from this drop-down list. The
Mapped Projects
drop-down list displays the following:
- A .beu project file if data extraction is performed through the Portable Data Extractor. For details, refer to the online help provided with the Portable Data Extractor.
- An .xml file if data extraction is codeless or script-based. For details, refer to the Configuration Guides of PeopleSoft and Oracle.
- The Insight field displays the Insight selected and is not editable.
- To enhance extraction
performance, Infor Risk & Compliance enables you to select the objects that
you want extract. The number of default objects selected depend on the Insight
selected in the
Insight field. When you
select specific objects, the object count is displayed in the
Select Objects field.
Click the Browse icon to select specific objects.
Note:
- The file ObjectList.xml enables you to permanently exclude certain objects from being extracted. For details, refer to the Configuration Settings guide for respective Insights. All rules referring to these excluded objects will not generate any violations. Any reports that refer to these objects will also be impacted.
- The file
OUDetails.xml enables you to exclude all users from a specific organization
unit from being extracted. For details refer to the Infor Risk & Compliance
Platform - Configuration Settings document
Extraction from Lawson does not support excluding objects using the ObjectList.xml and OUDetails.xml.
- If you are extracting data for the Infor Configuration Insight for SAP, you can select the Use two-step extraction process check box if required. For more details on two-step extraction, refer to the section Extraction Types on this page.
- Schedule
Create a schedule for extraction as follows:
- On the Schedule panel, click the Calendar icon to select the Start Date and click the Clock icon to select Start Time to start the extraction schedule.
- From the Recurrence drop-down list, select one of the extraction recurrence options. If you select Never , the task will not recur. If you select any of the options such as Daily , Weekly , or Monthly , then you need to provide the specific day, or the week day or the specific days of the month respectively for the extraction to recur. Also set the end date of the extraction on the Set End Date panel
- Click Save and Close .
The date and time selected on this page is according to the time zone defined on the Preferences page.
After specifying the required details, click
. Depending on the schedule defined, data is extracted from the ERP application.After the data is successfully extracted from the ERP system, you can perform an analysis to analyze the extracted data for any existing violations or exceptions.
