Timeout Settings
This panel enables you to change default timeout values for various settings across Infor Risk & Compliance. Timeout values are specified in minutes and may be configured as required.
Note: When you change the default timeout settings, users connected to
the application experience a browser setting timeout and are redirected to the
sign-in page.
The following settings apply to all Insights:
- Session timeout value for UI
- Cookie timeout value for UI
- Timeout value for reports
The backend timeout value must be specified separately for Authorizations Insight for SAP and for other Insights (Authorizations Insight for oracle and PeopleSoft).
Note: The setting
Cookie timeout value for
UI is displayed only if the authentication scheme used is Infor
Risk & Compliance Application Security. When changing timeout values,
ensure that the cookie timeout value is equal to or greater than the session
timeout value.
If the session timeout value is to be changed from the default of 30 minutes, the following change needs to be made manually in IIS:
- In IIS Manager, in Features View, double click .
- On the ASP page, under Services, expand Session Properties.
- In the Time-out field, enter a time-out value in the format hh:mm:ss. For example, enter 00:15:00 for 15 minutes.
- In the Actions pane, click
