Action

The Action tab enables you to send an email notification to specific users in case a rule in the rule book is violated. There are two ways to do this:

• Provide the names of the users who will receive the notification. In the field When any rule in this rule book is violated, send an email message to, enter the name of the user or browse to search for users and select the users required.
• Send an email using parameters. The parameter list drives the email addresses used in the alerts. In the field When any rule in this rule book is violated, send an email message using parameter to, provide the parameter name in the autosuggest text box or click the Browse icon to locate the required parameter.
