Owners

Select users you wish to assign as the business process owner or rule book owner for this rule book.

The creator of the rule book is the default rule book owner and can assign other users as owners of this rule book and business process owners. Rule book owners have full administrative permissions over the rule book.

In the rule book ownership hierarchy, the business process owner is below the rule book owner. Business process owners have the same rights as rule book owners; but cannot add or remove users as rule book owners and business process owners.

Note: The administrator can perform all actions on all rule books, irrespective of the rule book ownership.

To select rule book owners or business process owners:

In the Business Process Owners and Rule Book Owners field, type in part of user name in the autosuggest text box. All business process owners or rule book owners matching the search criteria will be displayed. Select the required business process owner or rule book owner.

Note: Users may be assigned ownership of a rule within a rule book without necessarily owning the rule book. Rule owners may select this rule book on the Rule Books page, but will only be able to view the rules that they own.

Alternatively, click the Browse icon. All existing users in Infor Risk & Compliance are displayed in the drop-down list. Select the desired rule book owners and business process owners.

You can assign multiple business process owners and rule book owners for a rule book.

To remove a business process owner or a rule book owner from the business process owner or rule book owner list, select the business process owner or rule book owner to be removed and click the Remove icon.

Note: Ownership of rule books can also be assigned while creating a new user .The Ownership report displays the owners for rule books, rules, parameter lists, compensating controls and connections in Infor Risk & Compliance.
