Functional Area Variables
Create the required functional area variables before creating functional areas. Variables are placeholders for schema objects. A variable can be either of the following:
- A specific object attribute,
for example,
Approva.AI.SAP.Role.Name. - A global or generic
attribute which can occur across different types of objects, for example,
Approva.AI.
SAP.Connection.ConnectionName.
Variables can be created on the Variable Library tab, which is a repository for functional area variables. Once variables are created, they can be used in approval process templates or functional areas.
