Actions

You can perform the following action on the Approval Process page:

• Search for a template
• Create an approval process template
• Modify an approval process template
  1. Click the name link of the template to be edited. This displays the details of the selected approval process template.
  2. Edit the template details as required. For more information refer to the section create an approval process template.
  3. Click Save.
• Delete customized approval process templates
  1. Select the check box next to the template that is to be deleted.
  2. Click the Delete icon.
     Note: Custom templates can be deleted. Default templates shipped with the application cannot be deleted.
• Disable customized approval process templates

  To manually disable approval process templates,

  Select the check box corresponding to the template that is to be disabled and click Disable.

  Default templates shipped with the application cannot be disabled.

• Enable customized approval process templates

  Approval Process templates must be enabled before they can be attached to requests. Otherwise, the request fails displaying the error message' Could not find correct template'.

  To enable a disabled approval process template:

  1. Select the check box corresponding to the template to be enabled.
  2. Click Enable. Enabled templates are indicated with the icon Enabled.

     Only enabled templates are considered while approving requests.

• Customize default templates

  Default approval templates may be modified to suit your specific requirements. To modify a template:

  1. Click the required approval template name link. This displays the details of the selected approval process template.
  2. Edit the template details as explained in the create an approval process template section.
  3. Click Save.
  • Customization options for default templates

    You can customize only the default approval process templates listed below and the listed options.
