Subscribing to email notifications
To create a new notification:
- Click Add Notification. A pop-up window is displayed.
- Provide the subject line for the email.
- From the Delivery drop-down list, select whether notifications should be sent as soon as the event occurs, or whether they should be consolidated and sent out daily or weekly.
- From the Type drop-down list, select the type of task for which the notification is to be sent.
- From the Events drop-down list, select the type of event for which the notification should be sent. This drop-down list will display all events for the type selected. For example, if you selected 'analysis' as the type, you might select 'analysis failure' as the event so that a notification email will be sent out only if analysis fails.
- Define the scope of the notification. Select the ALL check box or you have the option to clear it and browse for the user to be notified. For example, if creating a notification for a connection, you can opt to receive a notification for ALL connections, or browse for a specific connection for which to receive a notification.
- Select whether the notification should have a rich text or plain text format.
- Select the language in which the notification is to be sent out. The languages supported are English, French and German. The template used for the notification will also be in the selected language.
- Click the Browse icon to select Infor Risk & Compliance users. The selected users appear in the Users field. Click the Remove icon to remove users from the list.
-

Notifications panel will be updated with the
saved information.
Note: When you create a new notification, it uses a pre-defined notification template. Notification template formats can be customized to suit your requirements.Note: When a compensating control, its assignment to a rule, an exclusion, a user password or account expires, the system automatically sends a notification with this information to the users concerned. The notification is sent 7 days in advance to the user concerned and also every day till the event expires. These settings can be configured using the SetNotifications.xml file. For details, refer to the Infor Risk & Compliance Platform - Configuration Settings.
