Conflict Rules

Conflict rules state that a single user cannot have a role with conflicting access rights.

As an example, the procedure to build rule conditions for a 'Transaction Conflicts' type of rule is provided below

Transaction Conflicts

Transaction conflict rules list those conflicting transaction codes (Tcodes) assigned to authorizations that allow a user or role, a certain degree of independence in completing a transaction.

The Process Sales Orders versus Process Revenue Recognition rule helps to identify all users and roles assigned two or more of the conflicting transactions and associated authorizations listed in this rule. Users and roles assigned these objects are displayed as violations in the analysis results.
