Create or Edit an Extraction Schedule

Extraction is the process of acquiring data from the underlying ERP system for analysis in Infor Risk & Compliance. Once you create a connection, you can schedule data extraction from your ERP application. Infor Risk & Compliance enables you to extract data online from the following ERP systems/database:

  • Infor
  • Lawson - Infor Risk & Compliance supports data extraction from Lawson systems. As Infor Risk & Compliance is configured to Lawson 10.x by default, you can create connections and extract data from Lawson 10.x without any manual tasks. To extract data from a Lawson 10.x system, go to [Infor Risk & Compliance Install Path]\Adapters\TMonitor\LawsonConnector\Approva. Copy all the files in the 10.x folder and paste them into the Connector folder.
Note: Stop the Adapter Services prior to copying the files. Start the Adapter Services after pasting the files in the Connector folder.
  • SAP
  • Oracle
  • PeopleSoft
Note: To perform the following actions during a SAP extraction, configure the file PostExtractSPConfig.xml. For details on configuring the file, see the SAP - Configuration Settings Guide

When performing an extraction using the Java or .NET connector, characters that the connectors do not recognize are represented with an icon in Infor Risk & Compliance.

Data may be extracted online if you are directly connected to the ERP application. If, however, data needs to be extracted from a remote connection, you need to use the Portable Data Extractor and upload the extracted output into Infor Risk & Compliance. This is known as an offline extraction. Once an extraction is scheduled, it is available on the Tasks page and also on the Schedules page.

When an extraction from Lawson is in progress, the Tasks page displays the number of objects extracted in the Remarks column. This number is updated as more objects are extracted into Infor Risk & Compliance.

For Process Insights, if extraction has failed or stopped, you can use the button to re-extract or resume extraction.

Note: The status message of an extraction task relevant to User Activity Insight, can be configured using UAIConfig.xml file. For details, see the SAP - Configuration Settings Guide.
