Assigning new roles to the user

This panel enables you to assign new roles.

To assign new roles:

  1. Click the look up option on the Roles field
  2. Select one of these options to assign new roles:
    • Role Name and Description
    • Roles with Authorization
    • Roles with Transaction
    • Roles assigned to User
      Note: You can configure the WhatIfSettings.xml file to enable or disable this functionality. By default, this functionality is enabled.
    • Roles by Functional Areas
  3. Alternatively, click the Browse icon to browse for and select roles and click OK.
  4. If required, select the validity of the new role assignment from the date of approval in the Valid From and Valid Through fields.
