CUA Requests
Using CUA you can create the following types of requests:
-
User Creation Request: This request enables you to create
new users in the SAP CUA Master and assign them roles in the child CUA clients
as well as in the CUA Master. The newly created users can access the CUA Master
and the child CUA clients only if they are assigned roles in the respective
systems.
Note: Once users are created in the CUA Master, a User Creation Request need not be created again to create the same users in the child CUA clients. Instead, create a Role Assignment request to assign the newly created users the required roles in the child CUA clients. Once the users are assigned roles, they can access the child CUA clients
-
Role Assignment Request: Users created in the SAP CUA
Master can be assigned roles in the child CUA clients by creating a Role
Assignment Request. You can create a Role Assignment Request to:
- Assign roles to a user in CUA Master as well as in the child CUA clients.
- Revoke the assigned roles.
- Extend the user access
to other clients. If users are assigned roles and have access to some of the
child CUA clients, the access can be extended to other child CUA clients. For
this you need to create a Role Assignment request to assign them roles in the
other child CUA clients.
Note: A user can create an Emergency Access requests in a child CUA client only if the user is assigned at least one role in that client. If a user present in the SAP CUA Master does not have a role assigned in a child CUA client, the user cannot create an Emergency Access request in that child client.
- User Re-provisioning Requests: This request type enables you to re-provision, or grant SAP access to users who have been previously de-provisioned through Infor Risk & Compliance.
- User De-provisioning Requests: This request type enables you to lock users in SAP and Infor Risk & Compliance, revoke roles assigned to them, mark user accounts as expired and change the additional user attributes.
