User Information
The tabs displayed depends on the authentication scheme used :
- User Information: Use this
section to provide these informations:
- From the Directory drop-down list, select Microsoft Active Directory.
- From the Server drop-down list, select the Infor Risk & Compliance domain name.
- In the field User Account to Add provide the name of a user with a valid account on the server or domain. The user name must be unique and must not exist in other domains. Ensure that the user name does not contain a comma
- Click the Browse icon to provide an already existing user name. A list of Infor Risk & Compliance User Accounts is displayed. Select the required user and click OK.
- Click Save.
- Out of office settings:
This panel is common for both the authentication types and enables
Administrators to mark the user out of office. If users are approvers for a
request, the Administrator can also appoint an alternate approver in their
place. It is also possible for users to mark themselves out of office through
the
Preferences page .
Note: The Out of Office settings panel is displayed only if Access Manager is installed on your server. This panel is disabled at the time of user creation and is enabled only after the user has been created.
- Roles: To assign a role to
a new user:
- Type in part of the role name in the autosuggest text box. The roles matching the search criteria are displayed. Select the desired role. To assign multiple roles at a time, click the Browse icon. Select the desired roles and click OK . All the roles to be assigned to the new user will appear in the list of roles below the Roles field. The General User role is assigned to the user , by default.
- Click .
- To remove a role assigned to the user, select the assigned role and click the Remove icon.
Infor Risk & Compliance ships with 15 pre-defined roles. Each role contains privileges that allow a user to perform different functions in the application. In addition to the pre-defined roles. here are two pre-defined roles for hosted environments (SAAS roles).
