Cleanup analysis results

Frequent analysis can generate large volumes of violations or exceptions that may require cleaning up from time to time. The clean-up analysis feature enables you to clean up  violations or exceptions results for rule books with the status 'Draft' used in past analyses. This data is removed from the Infor Risk & Compliance database. It can be used with all Authorizations Insights as well as Process Insight based analyses.

Users will not be able to delete violation/exception data associated with rule books that have been placed in the final state. In this case users will see an error message stating that the rule book needs to be in a draft state for cleanup to be performed.

If a rule book in a draft state contains a combination of rules that are in a final stage, cleanup will be done only on rules in the draft stage.

Note: If all violations or exceptions for an analysis are deleted, that analysis will also be deleted.

Each time a violation/exception delete operation is carried out for a particular rule book, the following information will be recorded in the audit table and be viewable from the audit report:

  • Rule book for which the violations/exceptions generated were deleted .
  • The user performing the operation.
  • Time the operation was performed.
  • Success/failure
  • If an analysis was deleted as a result, the name of the analysis that was deleted.
  • Number of violations/exceptions deleted.

Clean up violations/exceptions data as follows:

  1. Select the required rule books so that the analysis results for these rule books are removed.
  2. Click the More Actions icon and then click Cleanup Analysis Results. Infor Risk & Compliance creates a long running task that is displayed on the Tasks page.
Note: Connection-based security does not apply to data clean up. Cleaning up the analysis results will remove all references to the violations or exceptions for the selected rule book from the Infor Risk & Compliance database.
