Creating connection for Lawson

Before creating a connection for the Lawson System Foundation (LSF) system, ensure that Lawson Distributed Single Sign-On (DSSO) is installed and configured on the Infor Risk & Compliance server. The following manual tasks also have to be performed after installing DSSO.

Open the Isservice.properties file and copy the value of remoteserver.servicename and paste it as the value of server.servicename. The path for this file varies depending on the Lawson system version for which the connection is being created.

  • For Lawson 10.x, this file is located at [DSSO Install Path]\system
  • For Lawson, this file is located at [DSSO Install Path]\law\system

You must copy certain files from Lawson Application server and paste them into [Infor Risk & Compliance Install Path]\Adapters\TMonitor\LawsonConnector\Approva\Connector folder. For details, see Infor Risk & Compliance Planning and Deployment Guide.

In the Environment Variables window (Start > Control Panel > System > Advanced > Environmental Variables), locate the 'Path Variable'. Click Edit to view the Edit System Variable window. Depending on whether the connection is being created for Lawson, specify the following in the Variable Value field:

  • For a Lawson 10.x connection: Add a semicolon (;), followed by [DSSO Install Path]\bin\ after the existing path that is displayed.

The Lawson user account creating connections for the Lawson System Foundation (LSF) system and scheduling extractions should have table level read access on the Lawson Product Line-APPS database.

Provide the following information to create a connection for Lawson System Foundation (LSF) systems:
