Specifying search criteria
On the Search criteria panel, build the hierarchy of the rule condition that you are searching for. The rule condition you build depends on the ERP and object selected. For example, lets assume that the ERP is SAP and the object selected is Transactions.
-
Right click on Group 1. Choose one of these options:
- Select Copy Condition from Other Rules if you want to copy an existing rule condition.
- Click the add condition icon to add a new rule condition. The first condition group is displayed.
- After the first condition group is displayed, click Add Transaction. The Browse Transactions pop-up window is displayed.
- In the autosuggest text box type in a part of the transaction name. All transactions matching the search criteria will be displayed. Select the required transactions and click Add. Alternatively, browse for and select the desired transactions and click OK.
- Select the check box Add all related authorizations and authorization attributes for each Transaction if you want the hierarchy below the transaction to be added automatically. To select the hierarchy manually, do not select the check box.
- Click Add. The transaction is added to the Search Criteria panel. If you selected the related authorizations check box, expand to view the hierarchy below the transaction. If the check box was not selected, you will need to add the hierarchy manually by clicking Add Authorization and following the same process described above
-
Once your search criteria are defined, click
Search.
Note:
- Infor Risk & Compliance does not search for an exact match but displays the hierarchy contained within the specified rule condition. For example, if a user searches for ME31, the search will display all authorizations contained under ME31 as well.
- The search finds matches based on the technical name and not the object's description.
