SAP IMG Insight specific privileges

Before the Configuration Insight for SAP IMG can be used to extract data from SAP, IRC requires an SAP user with certain minimum privileges.

Note:  In addition to the privileges listed in the section Privileges common to all Insights, this section lists the minimum permissions required to extract data for SAP IMG Insight. A user in SAP should have all these minimum permissions assigned.

These privileges are available in these SAP roles:

INFOR_IMG: This role contains authorizations required for an SAP user to extract data related to the IMG.

Note:  All out-of-the-box Infor SAP roles are available in the IRC Integration Adapters Package in the \SAP\Roles folder. The required role can be uploaded directly to the target SAP server using the transaction 'PFCG' and then assigned to the user account used for extraction. Alternatively, a new role can be created in SAP with the documented authorizations, likewise the new role must be assigned to the user account used for extraction.

For the specific SAP.NET Connector versions supported, refer to the Infor Risk & Compliance Planning and Deployment Guide.

Note: Different SAP Insights require different minimum privileges to extract data from SAP. If the same connection is used to extract data for different SAP Insights, the user should be assigned the minimum privileges for all concerned Insights.

For example, if a user wishes to extract data for Configuration Insight for SAP IMG as well as the System Configuration Insight for SAP, this user should be assigned the minimum privileges for both these Insights.
