Stages set to bypass

All the approval stages in an approval process template may be set to bypass. This means that approval is not required for requests created with this template. In such cases, the SAMIWritebackConfig.xml must be configured to define whether the changes requested in such requests should be updated in the target ERP system.

This xml file enables you to carry out the requested action directly in the target application.

To configure this xml setting:

XML file name and path	[InstallPath]\Settings\SAMIWritebackConfig.xml
Tag	<approval>
Node	<updatebypassed>false</updatebypassed>
Configuration setting	Set updatebypassed to True - The requested action is carried out directly in the target application. False - the target application is not modified and the request is marked as completed.
Default	The default value is False.
