Configure additional user attributes for PeopleSoft FISCM/HRMS requests

Access Manager for PeopleSoft FISCM or HRMS supports 8 additional user attributes. The details of these attributes are given in the table below:

Additional user attribute Description
User ID Alias By default this is a text box. Support for connection-wise browsing along with permissible values is also available.
Primary Email Address By default this is a text box. Support for connection-wise browsing along with permissible values is also available. We can just have single email address unlike ERP which has multiple email IDs.
Language Code By default this is a drop-down list. This list contains 18 values. If you want to add more values to support, you will have to modify the Additional User Attribute XML.

Support for connection-wise browsing is available provided the table ’PSXLATITEM’/’TranslateItemValues’ is selected while scheduling an extraction.

Enable Expert Entry By default this is a drop-down list. Support for connection-wise browsing is not available.
Navigator Homepage By default this is a text box. Support for connection-wise browsing along with permissible values is also available.
Primary By default this is a text box. Support for connection-wise browsing along with permissible values is also available.
Process Profile By default this is a text box. Support for connection-wise browsing along with permissible values is also available.
Row Security By default this is a text box. Support for connection-wise browsing along with permissible values is also available.

As an additional user attribute provides additional information about a user apart from the information provided while creating a request, it is referred to as an additional user attribute. The additional user attributes mentioned above can be configured for these PeopleSoft FISCM/HRMS request types of by modifying the file AdditionalUserAttributes_PSFTFI.xml or AdditionalUserAttributes_PSFTHR.xml so that the user attributes are displayed on the request creation page:

  • User Creation
  • User Re-Provisioning
